cam op ✅ grip ✅ audio ✅ talent ✅ production looks a little different these days. (messy guest room not necessary for the full quarantine shoot experience, but encouraged)

Today is our last day in our cozy Oak Ct. apartment. I hate to be so sentimental over a building, but 3 precious years of life have been spent in her walls. When I first moved to Nashville, I slept on the couches and in extra bedrooms of friends and friends of friends. While I felt welcomed there, it was in Oak Ct. that I felt home for the first time since leaving my parents house. In my time here, I got my first video production job, got fired from that months later lololol. Started at my current job which I love so much, found our sweet baby Bella here, got engaged, got married, had safety in a tornado, have had comfort during a pandemic. It’s been a RIDE. .
There were big milestones in this house but my favorite moments were the unremarkable ones; curling up in front of the tv after a long day at work, cooking dinner for friends, walking around the neighborhood at sunset, yelling TRAAAAIN every time a train rumbled through the neighborhood at 2am. This home will always mean so much to me, and while I’ll remember the big milestones marked in it, I’ll mostly remember the simple, unremarkable joy of everyday spent in it.
